The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

I love this watch for running! It's small and fits the wrist very well. The only problem as others have mentioned is the indiglo button (once pushed) blanks the screen. I fixed it by replacing the battery. Batteries are not cheap and you have to have the right tools. I had the right stuff laying around and besides, it doesn't take long to troubleshoot it. I had the same problem as a previous poster - every time I pressed the Indiglo light button on, the screen would light up for a second and then the watch would go completely blank for 10 seconds. In normal operation, the light should turn on for three to five seconds without any disruption of the display screen. This is inexcusable and warrants a one-star from me.
