It features a durable yellow and black resin case, large buttons for easy access to timing functions, and a comfortable polyurethane strap. It also offers a 6-year battery life, water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet), three alarms, and three time zones. Sport timing functions include:

This watch incorporates the Timex Flix system, which activates the Indiglo night-light with a simple flick of your wrist. To activate FLIX, put the watch into Night-Mode by pressing and holding the Indiglo night-light button 3 seconds until it beeps. With the watch in Night-Mode, a forward "flick" of the wrist with a sharp "stop" will activate the Indiglo night-light for three seconds.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

I've put it through the scorching summer heat, humidity, and lots of sweat as well as a few summer rain showers. It still works perfectly. The large numbers are easy to see. The oversized buttons are easy to press, which is especially important for sprint workouts. It also has an hourly beep that strikes on the hour, which I find very handy. There are also chronograph features I have not used yet, but look easy to set. My only beef is with the Indiglo. I've used other Indiglo watches, usually analog, and they are much easier to read at night. The strap is sturdy, and doesn't stick to my skin with sweat. The monitor is not as big as the picture makes it seem. It is extremely easy to learn how to use it; I picked it up and had set the time and my alarms in about 5 minutes. The numbers are clear and easy to read. The lap recall feature is easy to use and works like a charm. All in all, this is a great Timex that completely satisfied me. It was very much worth the money. |
