Definitely worth the extra $30. I have a small wrist and the bezel size looks perfect on mine and the face is very readable. The case is a little thicker than my other Chronograph, but still very comfortable. The only quirk I found was the velcro strap would catch on my golf shirts. Out of the box it's anther great Timex watch for a great price. I specifically wanted a velcro-style strap because you can always get a perfect fit with it on your wrist and it's very comfortable and you also don't have to worry about a band loop working loose and partially undoing the band. As with my previous Timex watch, I'm not worried about the fabric band getting "funky" as it should stay pretty clean with a wash in the shower or regular soap and water once in a while. Nowhere else can you get this build quality for such a low price. I considered getting a heart rate monitor, but decided that to use it the way you want to use it, you've got to wear the chest-strap which seems really cumbersome to me. GPS would have been nice, but widely available internet mapping sites can help with a lot of that info if you just bother looking at it. Overall, highly recommended. |
