Once we set all the calculations it's a flawless piece. We did all the measuring for walk, jog & run stride lengths and steps per minute for each as well (which is a bit painstaking taking up to 15 minutes of your time...a whole 15 minutes, geez) she never has to worry about it being off ever again...and me being rather anal I even checked distances against it on my bike, car and web, perfect! I highly recommend you do this for accuracy. Like Ron says..."set it and forget it!"Now, as to what everyone else is complaining about..."too big" I just have to say "HUH"? Have you looked at watches these days? THIS is too BIG? Something from Alice in Wonderland is too big. It does have a large face, though no bigger than my sport or designer watches, I don't know what these sporty people expect to be able to read on a smaller face while jogging & swimming.
