They never seem to hold up. Of all the brands, Timex has consistently delivered accurate and dependable watches. Particularly the Ironman line. This particular model is an even more ruggedized version of an already rugged product line.Very simple features -- a few alarms, a timer, lap counter, calendar, and backlight. I'm all about simple. Not a lot of excess or glam with this. What attracted me to this watch was both its shock resistance and cloth strap. You run the risk of the strap smelling like big time BO, but the normal rubberized plastic bands always crack on me. The watch crystal is absolutely massive and thick. In the picture, you see a orange ring around the face. That's a gigantic gasket it seems. It's been a very dependable and well functioning watch that keeps superb time. I set it off an atomic clock, and it's probably only a second off in the last few weeks. That's pretty good for a $45 watch. The face isn't too big... Read more |
