The only negatives, perhaps, are the negative screen (white digits on black screen), and not being a 150 lap watch. I have an older 30-lap that is standard black digits on white screen and it is definitely easier to read from any angle. This watch still gets it done and you get use to the negative screen after a few days. As for the laps, I wanted to get the 150-lap watch but hear the Tap-screen Ironman makes is horrendous for swimming, which is what I wanted this for. I can still log a 1.5 mile swim, which is good enough for now.Awesome features: -The glass on the face is a bit recessed, and the black trim around the face definitely adds some protection. So far, no scratches. -The 50 lap memory will store and save for later viewing which you can recall by date. I read the other review about someone saying they could see it getting dirty with a white band, and they were correct. I had the watch a little under a week and with normal wearing (including in the shower), it still got stained a yellow/brown color in multiple places on the watch, and would not come off. The watch itself is great, but as cool as the look of it seemed it would be, it wasn't worth it and I returned it while I still could. They are some of the most durable watches on the market. Really, i've nearly done everything possible to kill it off and it won't die. The old saying "which one isn't like the others". This one is different. First you will notice the white band. Love the change. Also it also sports a carbon faceplate. Again love it. The INDIGLO night-light is very bright and it has Negative (light-on-dark) numbers. The best part of this watch is the strap ventilation. It dries out quickly and doesn't smell. I love this watch. |
