There's a reason why the Ironman collection is going strong after so many years, these are simply great watches for a more than reasonable price. When the band broke on my previous Ironman, it had an integrated band on it so it could not be replaced without sending it back to Timex, I made the mistake of trying a cheap Casio and when it arrived I knew immediately it had to be returned. In its place I ordered this Timex and was pleased to find exactly what I had come to expect, a very easy to use interface, clear and easy to read display, bright illumination courtesy of the Indiglo feature and weekend only alarm functionality.This is an easy watch to like, its built to take abuse while still looking good; its low profile so that it won't bulge under a shirt cuff, something that bugs me about my Casio G-shock and it looks good doing what its meant to do, tell me clearly what time it is. These watches will last forever. I've always gotten at least 5+ years out of each watch. Not bad for less than $40! |
